Terms of Service

Welcome to Nearby Kitchens. These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”), and Nearby Kitchens, concerning your access to and use of our mobile application.

Nearby Kitchens acts solely as a technology platform connecting Customers with independent Home Chefs (housewives and home cooks). We are not a restaurant, food preparation entity, or commercial kitchen.

• Chef Responsibilities: Home Chefs are entirely responsible for the preparation, quality, and hygiene of the food provided.
• 2km Radius: Our platform strictly limits visibility to a 2km radius to ensure food quality and prevent waste.

To empower our chefs, we currently operate a direct-payment model. Customers are required to pay the Home Chefs directly using Cash on Delivery (COD) or by scanning the Chef's provided UPI ID/QR code. Nearby Kitchens does not hold, process, or deduct commissions from these direct food payments during the MVP phase.

Our platform promotes a Zero Food Waste policy. Meals are prepared strictly based on pre-orders or Monthly Tiffin subscriptions. Once a Chef accepts a pre-order and begins preparation, cancellations may not be eligible for refunds, subject to mutual agreement directly between the Customer and the Chef.
